What did you do this past week?

This week was a pretty normal week for me. I went to class and worked on assignments. I started working on the last project for this class and am pretty much done. I just need to pass the acceptance tests whenever they get uploaded to the public repository. This week I could not go out and hang out with some friends as much as I would like since it was raining for half of the week.

What’s in your way?

Once again just like most every other week, my laziness was the thing that got in my way the most this past week. I just did not want to work on anything until the end of the week. I did not want to work on any of the final projects that I have for some of my classes.

What will you do next week?

I will finish life (hopefully it is already finished). I also need to finish the last project for my A.I. class and also finish the final project for ethical hacking. In addition to this, I need to start studying for some of my final exams and relearn some of the material in some of my classes that I have forgotten.

If you read it, what did you think of the The Joel Test?

I did not read The Joel Test since I have already done the ten required readings.

What was your experience of virtual and dynamic binding? (this question will vary, week to week)

I had some experience with the virtual keyword and dynamic binding. I had some experience with dynamic binding from how it works in Java; however, the way it works in Java is slightly different than the way it works in C++. Overall though, with the lectures this week, I learned a lot more about these two topics.

What made you happy this week?

I actually (hopefully) finished a project (life) earlier than a day before it is due.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Take a break from coding every once in a while. I find that whenever I get stuck on a bug or something, if I take like an hour break, it becomes easier to spot the bug.
